Renata Castro, Esq. is a vibrant attorney who graduated from the prestigious Nova Southeastern University School of Law in Davie, Florida and admitted to practice by the Florida Bar. Founder of the Castro Legal Group, in Pompano Beach, Florida, Renata focuses her practice in Immigration, Commercial and Family Law Matters.
Born in Brazil, Renata has been in the USA for over a decade, and now resides with her family in Margate, Florida. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Renata is engaged in the community through political activism, volunteer work and community outreach. President and Founder of ABILA – American Brazilian International Lawyers’ Association (www.brazilusalaw.org), Renata aims to integrate the Brazilian community abroad by spreading awareness and information about legal issues that are particularly important to the community.
Renata has been published by several renowned publications such as Immigration and Naturalization Committee’s Winter/Spring Issue (Part of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law), AcheiUSA, Gazeta News, Brasileirinho, Jornal Popular, Alô Você Magazine, to name a few. Renata has also been interviewed on immigration matters by TV Record, TV Globo International, Estado de S. Paulo, BBC Brazil, Revista Linha Aberta, and Jornal O Globo. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Sistema Universitário Ana G. Méndez, Renata also has an MBA in Project Management from Aspen University.
Larissa Nonni is a student at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad School of Law, where she consistently outperforms her peers through academic performance and community engagement.
A valuable Participant in the Trial Association Competition Team representing Nova, Larissa’s performance was praised by receiving top scores in the rounds in which she engaged in.
A graduate of the prestigious Monroe College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Larissa’s academic prowess earned her a well deserved plethora of generous financial endowments through private scholarships.
In her spare time, Larissa likes to enjoy her family, and spending time with her husband, Johnny at the beach. Painting, reading, jiu-jitsu and community outreach are favorites activities.
